The Short Version
We don't ask you to create an account or log in.
We don't set cookies.
We don't collect IP addresses or anything that can identify you personally.
We don't store the links or usernames you enter, or the files you download.
We collect anonymous page statistics (page views, time on page and visit time) to improve our pages.
What You Enter
When you paste a video link or enter a username, ttkit uses it to look up publicly available TikTok content and show you the result.
- We use what you enter only to complete your request.
- We don't store your links or usernames, and we don't link them to you.
- Videos, audio, Stories, Highlights and exported files are delivered to your browser. We don't keep copies on our servers.
- We never ask for your TikTok username or password. If any site asks you to log in with TikTok to view or save public content, close it.
Analytics
We use first-party analytics to understand how our pages are used. This helps us find out which tools are useful and which pages need improving.
What we count
- Page views (how many times each page is visited)
- Time spent on each page
- When pages are visited (date and time)
What we don't collect
- IP addresses
- Names, email addresses or account details
- Anything else that could identify you personally
- The links or usernames you enter
This data is anonymous. We can't tell who a visit came from, and we don't connect it to any individual. Our analytics is run by us, and we don't use third-party advertising or tracking services.
The Details
Cookies
ttkit doesn't set cookies, and we don't use similar technologies to track you across visits or across other sites.
Public Content Only
ttkit can only access content that TikTok already makes public. We can't access private accounts, private videos or restricted content, and we don't offer ways around those limits.
Third Parties
ttkit is an independent website and isn't affiliated with TikTok. To show you public content, our service retrieves it from TikTok's public pages. TikTok's own terms and privacy policy apply to TikTok content.
Our website is delivered through hosting and network providers. As with any website, these providers may process basic technical information needed to deliver pages and keep the service secure. We don't use that information to identify you or build profiles.
Children
ttkit isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Your Rights
Because we don't collect personal information, we generally hold no personal data about you that we could access, correct or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, contact us and we'll look into it.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page. Please check back from time to time.
